Our Unique Manufacturing Process

All Swim Kitten merchandise is made in the U.S.A. (in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, to be exact). Many of our garments are handmade or receive handmade finishing treatments before being shipped out our doors. Because of this, our delivery model is a little different than most online retailers. We don't merely pull orders from a fulfillment warehouse, turning orders around in a single day as a general rule (though we typically can achieve a one-day turnaround on rush orders… read more about our delivery times). Instead, many of our items are made to order, and require a day or two of custom finishing before being scheduled for shipment. The advantage is a high quality product with attention to detail. The garments you'll receive will be created with love by the employees of a family-based business who take pride and pleasure in creating a product expressly for you.
